I've bought some lovely fabrics from The Viking Loom in York and cut them into 2" strips. What do you think? My favourite is the flowery one on the left, it's so pretty.

Quilting
I'm feeling inspired to try a bit of quilting, since reading this tutorial by Cluck Cluck Sew. Isn't it gorgeous? I actually haven't used a sewing machine since finishing my GCSE in textiles 15 years ago (Eep!). Anyway, I've been given my Mum's sewing machine on long term loan - so I'm good to go.
